SAN DIEGO, California (June 24, 2016) — A car spun out and struck another motorist Friday morning on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway, just north of Carroll Canyon Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 9:27 a.m. this morning. The driver of a Honda spun out on the freeway, hitting an Acura and blocking the HOV lane. One of the vehicles was possibly smoking and injuries were reported. Paramedics rushed to the scene to treat and possibly transport anyone hurt in the crash.
The crash is under investigation by the CHP to determine cause.
