SAN DIEGO, Calif. (June 28, 2018) — Two people were hospitalized with injuries following a collision between two motorists Wednesday night at 28th Street and L Street in Grant Hill, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash was reported about 6:52 p.m. last night. A 27-year-old man driving an Audi A4 was reportedly speeding down 28th Street and crashed broadside into a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck at the intersection. The 38-year-old female passenger in the Audi suffered a fractured femur and was taken to a hospital. The driver in the Chevrolet pickup truck had a fractured orbital and was also taken by ambulance to a hospital.
The driver of the Audi did not appear to be injured.
The San Diego Police Traffic Division is heading up the investigation into the circumstances.

At this time, it’s clear that the suspect who injured this motorcyclist should be held responsible for this collision. Once police locate the driver, he or she may face both criminal charges and a separate civil lawsuit from the injured motorcyclist.
