SAN DIEGO, California — According to an article by San Diego Union-Tribune, three parties were injured as a result of a traffic collision on San Pasqual Valley Road in the morning of December 23.
As per the report, a head-on crash between a Ford CMax hybrid SUV and a Nissan Altima took place on the road near Cloverdale shortly after 9:00 a.m.
Emergency crews immediately responded to the site and were able to rescue three people–24-year-old female Altima passenger, 64-year-old female Altima driver, and 26-year-old male Ford driver.
All parties were transported to a nearby hospital. Among the three, the Altima passenger suffered the most severe trauma–serious back injuries and broken ribs.
Further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
