Pedestrian Hurt in Hit-and-run Truck Accident in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2019) — A pedestrian was injured Tuesday morning when they were struck by a blue semi-tractor trailer truck at Paseo De Las Americas and Siempre Viva Road.
The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at 8:09 a.m.at the Otay Mesa scales. The truck driver fled the scene of the crash without stopping to help the injured pedestrian. The truck is described as having a blue cab and white box trailer with an unknown name on the side of it.
The CHP is heading up the investigation into the crash.
