SAN DIEGO, California (October 21, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, at least one person sustained injuries following a multi-car crash on Interstate 15 freeway Friday morning.
As per the report logged at 11:03 a.m., about two to three vehicles got involved in a collision near Rancho Penasquitos. Some of the vehicles found at the scene were a silver Chevrolet Malibu, green Honda, silver Toyota pickup, and blue sedan. Each mentioned car’s role on the incident was not clear.
The CHP team affirmed at least one person was hurt from the crash. The injured was treated by paramedics for sustained major injuries.
Further, the log mentioned one party was seen evading on foot from the site. The man was later identified as the driver of the green Honda involved in the crash.
At this time, information on the possible hit-and-run accident is limited. Investigation is ongoing due to several factors remain unclear.
