1 Hospitalized After Collision at Highway 56 and 15 Freeway Sunday
San Diego, CA (November 23, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in the area of State Route 56 and Interstate 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided in the westbound side of SR-56, also known as Ted Williams Freeway. The accident took place near the crossing at I-15, also known as Escondido Freeway.
Emergency teams arrived at the crash site shortly after 3:30 p.m. First responders found a white Toyota Prius, and a red Toyota Corolla both disabled in the middle of the roadway.

Medical personnel reportedly rendered aid to all possible victims. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained minor injuries as a result of the wreck. Paramedics reportedly transported the patient to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Pending confirmation, the name of the injured parties remained undisclosed.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continued to investigate exactly how and why the car accident happened at State Route 56 and Interstate 15.
