Multi-Vehicle Crash on Cabrillo 163 Freeway
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (May 26, 2023) — A multi-vehicle car accident on the southbound Highway 163 also known as Cabrillo Freeway happened Friday morning near University Avenue in San Diego.
The collision occurred around 9 a.m. on May 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a grey Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, a Ford and two other motorists were involved.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash, but there were few details. A tow truck removed the Ford due to major front-end damage.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the car accident on Highway 163.
