At Least 2 Injured in Rollover Crash on Highland Valley Road

January 5, 2019 – At least two people were injured after two vehicles collided on Highland Valley Road Friday afternoon, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

As per the article, the accident happened when a silver Toyota RAV4 drove off the north roadway edge of Highland Valley while traveling westbound near Adrienne Way. The Toyota then veered into the opposite traffic, where is slammed head-on into a Class A 40-foot motorhome around 2:28 p.m.
The impact forced the Toyota to overturn, and the 23-year-old Ramona woman driving the vehicle suffered injuries as a result of the crash.
Authorities added a female passenger in the Beaver Monterey motorhome was transported by medical personnel to a local hospital for treatment of unknown extent of injuries. Meanwhile, the 63-year-old Ramona man driving the motorhome was reportedly unharmed in the wreck.
The names of all the parties involved in the accident remained unknown at this time.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the collision.
