At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision on San Diego (5) Freeway Monday
San Diego, CA (October 4, 2021) – A car accident that occurred in the area of Interstate 5 and 28th Street resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On Monday, multiple vehicles collided in the southbound side of I-5, also known as San Diego Freeway. Our sources indicated the wreck involved as many as six automobiles. First responders found a gray Dodge sedan at the scene. However, the make and model of the other cars have not been revealed thus far.

Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 6:55 p.m. According to the CHP dispatch, one person suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance rushed the patient to the hospital for treatment.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. Given that, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car accident on Interstate 5.
