2 Hospitalized After Collision Near Escondido (15) Freeway Monday
San Diego, CA (February 9, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on State Route 52 on February 7, Monday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two or more vehicles collided in the westbound side of the highway in San Diego. Our sources indicated the car accident took place in the area near the Interstate 15 Freeway.
Shortly after 8:48 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found at the scene a white truck, and a silver Jeep. Medical personnel rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the medical evaluation, authorities confirmed two people sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics decided to transfer the two patients to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Several factor surrounding the incident remained unclear. Detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on State Route 52 in San Diego.
