Children Involved in Car Accident on State Route 94
San Diego, Calif. (May 15, 2025) — A two-vehicle car crash with minor injuries happened Thursday morning on the 94 Freeway, just east of 28th Street in San Diego, California.
The traffic accident occurred on SR-94 at around 8:46AM on May 15th 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A green Jeep Wrangler and a silver Lexis sedan collided into one another in San Diego California on State Route 94, the report said. The CHP reported that both vehicles were not drivable following the crash. The silver or grey Lexis had children in the vehicle, but it is unknown whether or not these children were injured due to the accident.
Additionally, the car accident caused a major traffic hazard in the slow lane of the highway. The fire department and tow trucks responded to aid in removing the damaged vehicles from the highway.
Paramedics assisted those with minor injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the crash on the 94 Freeway in San Diego California.
