Elderly Man Hospitalized After Collision at 47th and Ladner Street
San Diego, CA (March 11, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of 47th and Ladner Street Saturday, March 11.
According to 911 Video News, two vehicles crashed into each other at the intersection in San Diego. Earlier reports indicated a woman was behind the wheel of a minivan heading north on 47th. When the minivan entered the crossing, another van drove into its path. The two vehicles collided. Officials said the force from the impact ricocheted the van across the street and hit a third vehicle, a U-Haul van.
The article published online mentioned the U-Haul was pushed back, and hit a white car driving behind it. Authorities confirmed all four automobiles sustained significant damage in the collision.
Minor Injury Car Accident in San Diego
Shortly after 10:18 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the scene. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all the parties involved in the incident. After the evaluation, medical personnel decided to traveling an elderly man to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. At this time, they continue to investigate the precise cause of the multi-vehicle crash that happened at 47th and Ladner Street.
