Pregnant Woman, Children Injured in Collision at Dairy Mart Road and Beyer Boulevard
San Diego, CA (April 15, 2023) – A pregnant mother, and her children suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Dairy Mart Road and Beyer Boulevard, the 911 Video News reported.
2-Vehicle Accident in San Diego
On April 14, Friday, two vehicles collided at the intersection in San Diego. Preliminary investigation revealed the driver of a Kia heading east on Dairy Mart ran a red light as they approached the crossing. Subsequently, the Kia T-boned a vehicle head south on Beyer.
The force from the impact caused the car, occupied by a family of four, to roll over across the broad roadway. Officials said the vehicle eventually came to a rest, and landed on its roof. According to the article published online, the male driver managed to extricate himself from the wreckage. The father and Good Samaritans helped the toddler and an infant before rescue teams responded to the site.
When firefighters arrived, they immediately worked to free the pregnant mother tapped in the mangled car. Our sources mentioned the mother, and two children were transported to local hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
No immediate information was available on the driver who ran a red light, and caused the crash. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car accident that happened at Dairy Mart Road and Beyer Boulevard in San Diego.
