Head-On Crash on 15 Freeway Near Rancho Bernardo Road Off-Ramp
SAN DIEGO (July 23, 2018) – According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, a traffic head-on collision took place along the Interstate 15 Freeway on Monday afternoon.
The accident involving two vehicles occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m.
CHP received a call about a dark colored sedan which collided head-on for an unknown reason with a white sedan on the northbound 15 Freeway near Rancho Bernardo Road off-ramp.

One of the cars involved slammed into a light pole nearby as a result of the crash.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics were requested to the scene to attend to the parties who might have suffered injuries following the wreck.
The cause of the incident has not been yet disclosed. Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to determine the liability in the collision.
