3 Children Hurt in Collision Near Woodman Street
San Diego, CA (July 3, 2022) – Several people, including three juveniles, suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Skyline Drive.
The ABC News reported a 70-year-old man was behind the wheel of a 2019 Ford F250 stopped for a red light in the area of Skyline Drive and Woodman Street. While waiting for the traffic signal to turn green, a 2001 Honda slammed into the back of the Ford. The collision took place around 6:50 p.m.

According to the article published online, rescue teams responded to the 6600 block of Skyline Drive. Emergency crews found three children inside the wrecked Honda. Per local news source, paramedics rushed all three juveniles to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Authorities briefly described the patients as a pair of 3-year-olds, and a 4-year-old.
Meanwhile, the 70-year-old man driving the Ford reportedly suffered a neck injury as a result of the crash.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. The San Diego Police Department continue to investigate the precise cause of the car accident on Skyline Drive.
