Major Injury Collision on Escondido Freeway Thursday
San Diego, CA (February 3, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 15, also known as Escondido Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a vehicle drifted off the roadway for an unknown reason Thursday evening. Officials said the small dark-colored sedan left the freeway; and slammed against a tree in the area near the Interstate 805 ramp.
Shortly after 8 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the accident. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detective stayed at the scene the whole evening to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the car crash on State Route 15 in San Diego.
