EL CERRITO, San Diego (October 22, 2016) – According to an article by NBC San Diego, an 11-year-old child sustained injuries as a result of being hit by a vehicle on University Avenue on October 21, Friday.
The report claimed that the child was struck in the 5900 block of the avenue at around 4:45 p.m.
The crash caused the youngster to bleed from the mouth. Paramedics immediately responded to the site and transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of injuries considered of minor severity.
As per the article, the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
