2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 163 in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Nov. 24, 2021) – A two-vehicle crash on Highway 163 happened Wednesday morning at Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
The traffic accident happened in the southbound lanes about 8:27 a.m. on Nov. 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP report stated a driver in a Ford F-250 pickup truck slammed into the back of a white Lexus RS SUV. The impact was such that the two vehicles became stuck together, the report said.
The vehicles also went off the roadway and knocked over a fence and three posts.
Paramedics responded due to possible injuries to those in the vehicles from the San Diego crash on Highway 163, the report said.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision as well as liability.
