
Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Freeway
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (March 23, 23) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Thursday morning on the Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of South Del Mar Heights.
The collision occurred in the southbound carpool and No. 1 lanes around 5:10 a.m. on March 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a silver Toyota Highlander SUV crashed into the center divider and was blocking the HOV lane. Also, a second vehicle, possibly a white Tesla, spun out and was facing the wrong way.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash, but it’s unknown how many were hurt at this time. Authorities classified the injuries as minor.
Meanwhile, tow trucks came to remove the damaged vehicles.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the San Diego crash on the Interstate 5 Freeway.
