2-Vehicle Crash on I-8 in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (May 5, 2023) — A two-vehicle San Diego crash happened Friday morning on the eastbound Interstate 8 Freeway.
The traffic accident occurred around 7:42 a.m. on May 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a gray Nissan Versa and a blue Dodge Ram pickup truck were involved. A witness told CHP operators that the truck driver was allegedly driving recklessly prior to the collision.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with minor injuries from the San Diego crash on the Interstate 8 Freeway, however, there were no specific details.
Tow trucks removed at least one of the vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are piecing together what happened and will determine fault.
