3-Vehicle Crash on the I-805 Freeway in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Sept. 1, 2022) — A San Diego crash on the northbound Interstate 805 Freeway at the transition to the northbound State Route 15 happened Thursday morning between several motorists.
The crash occurred on the I-805 about 5:32 a.m. on Sept. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One of the three drivers went up an embankment and another overturned onto its side during the collision.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash. They took one patient to Grossmont Hospital and the other to a different hospital. The injuries are considered minor, but there are no further details.
Metro Net Fire Authorities sent firefighters and paramedics to the crash site to help those involved, but there are no further details. Additionally, three tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles.
Also, authorities requested a SigAlert for the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash on the Interstate 805 Freeway.
