At Least 1 Killed in Traffic Collision on State Route 79 Sunday
San Diego, CA (August 22, 2021) – A deadly traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred Sunday on State Route 79.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the motorcyclist collided with a truck on SR-79. Earlier reports indicated the catastrophic incident took place between Aguanga and Oak Grove near Palomar Mountain.

Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 3:30 p.m. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sadly died as a result of the wreck.
The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly motorcycle and truck accident on State Route 79 in San Diego.
