Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man at Webster/Ridgeview Neighborhood
San Diego, CA (October 2, 2022) – A 50-year-old man died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Euclid Avenue early Sunday morning.
The ABC10 News and San Diego Union-Tribune reported a vehicle hit an individual in the Webster/Ridgeview neighborhood. Our sources indicated the vehicle was heading west when it struck the pedestrian near the northbound bike lane.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Euclid Avenue in San Diego
Shortly after 6:17 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the pedestrian suffering in serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Investigators handling the case continue to gather information to determine exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Euclid Avenue in San Diego.
