The CHP team mentioned four to five vehicles, including a motorcycle, were involved in a crash that took place at approximately 6:55 a.m.
Paramedics were immediately sent to provide aid at the scene. Upon arrival, the crews found two persons suffering in unspecified injuries. Both were carried in an ambulance and were taken to a medical facility for treatment. As per the authorities, the identities of the patients will be released following next of kin notification.
Also located at the site was a vehicle facing the wrong-way.
The CHP group has logged this incident as a hit-and-run injury collision but no detail have been provided on the suspect.
Due to several factors surrounding the incident remain unclear, investigation is still ongoing.
