Man, 73, and Woman, 64, Injured in Car Accident at Camino and Mira Mesa
SAN DIEGO (October 27, 2018) – An alleged DUI crash left a couple badly injured in the area of Camino Santa Fe and Mira Mesa Boulevard early Saturday, according to NBC San Diego and CBS 8 News.
The accident involving two vehicles took place at around 4 a.m. in the intersection.
As per the reports, police said a 73-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman were riding a 2010 Toyota Venza on Mira Mesa Boulevard when they were struck by a 2015 Ford Escape that was traveling north on Camino Santa Fe at the time.

Police affirmed that the elderly driver of the Venza suffered fractures to his hip and ribs while his wife sustained unspecified internal injuries upon impact.
The operator of the Escape, a 33-year-old man, had facial lacerations and he reportedly complained of pain due to the collision. All three were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Their names and condition at this time were not immediately available. Meanwhile, officials believed that the 33-year-old man was drunk driving when the wreck occurred. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
