DUI Crash on I-8 Freeway in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Sept. 21, 2018) — A woman was injured and a man was arrested on DUI charges early Friday morning after two collisions on the Interstate 8 Freeway in the College area, according to San Diego News.
The first collision took place about 1:15 a.m. when an eastbound white sedan crashed into a guardrail near the Waring Road overpass. Next, two cars crashed into each other near the first crash site, the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles were extremely mangled and barely recognizable after the two collisions. One vehicle was overturned onto its roof. Another vehicle had its engine ripped out.

The collision remains under investigation by police. It appears the suspect who was arrested may be at least partially responsible for the collision.
