One Dead, One Critical in 2-Car Crash
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (August 2, 2023) — One person died and a second person was critically injured in a crash at Woodman Avenue and Jamie Avenue in San Diego.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 9:24 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1st, according to a report by NBC San Diego.
A 24-year-old man driving southbound on Woodman Street in a Honda and a 56-year-old man in a 2006 Kia Sedona was heading northbound. The Kia attempted to turn into the path of the Honda and the two vehicles collided, the report said.
One of the two passengers in the Honda was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. A second passenger in the same vehicle suffered severe injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver from the Kia suffered minor injuries.
A passenger was ejected from a vehicle and died and another will likely die after a two-car crash in the Bay Terraces neighborhood of San Diego, authorities said Wednesday.
San Diego Police Department officers responded and are heading up an investigation.
