1 Severely Injured in San Diego Crash on Rancho Bernardo Road Near Via Tarzon
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 7, 2021) – At least one was severely injured after a head-on crash on Rancho Bernardo Road in San Diego.
According to an article published by the ABC 10 News, the accident took place on Sunday night. Officers reported the wreck at around 9 p.m.
San Diego police said at least two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in the Rancho Bernardo community. They crashed on Rancho Bernardo Road near Via Tarzon.
2 Vehicles Collide Head-On
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and extricated one trapped occupant from the wreck. The rescued person sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of the road to shut down following the crash. The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
