At Least 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision on Near Mission Center Sunday
San Diego, CA (September 14, 2021) – On September 12, a suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on the Interstate 8 Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic collision took place in the westbound side of Mission Valley (8) Freeway. Initial records indicated the accident happened just west of Mission Center in San Diego.
CHP logged the incident at approximately 1:15 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found at least one person with injuries. Paramedics at the scene rendered aid to the unidentified victims. The name of the injured party and their condition at this time remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Hit-and-Run Car Crash on 8 Freeway in San Diego, September 12
The CHP dispatch later confirmed a person involved in the collision fled the scene before police arrived. Given that, investigators continue to work to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect in the car crash on 8 Freeway.
