At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision at 30th and Thorn Street Friday
San Diego, CA (October 11, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on October 8, Friday, in the area of 30th and Thorn Street.

The On Scene TV published an article online indicating a large white pickup truck hit a man and woman riding an electric scooter at the intersection of 30th and Thorn. Officials said the white pickup truck stopped for a while after the collision, but eventually fled the scene.
Our sources mentioned the male rider sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of compound fracture to an ankle and a broken shoulder.
At approximately 7:40 p.m., authorities reportedly found on Lincoln Avenue a truck matching the description of the hit-and-run vehicle.
The suspect apparently hit a Toyota Prius on Lincoln Avenue in San Diego. According to the article, the driver of the Toyota suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. Responding paramedics rushed the second victim to a local hospital for treatment.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening to investigate several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash at 30th and Thorn Street.
