
San Diego hit-and-run Maryland Monroe
1 Injured in San Diego Hit-and-Run Crash at Maryland Street and Monroe Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 13, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person at Maryland Street and Monroe Avenue in San Diego.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Tuesday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at around 4:14 p.m.
CHP said a white 2009 Kia and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in San Diego. The two crashed at the intersection of Maryland Street and Monroe Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Madison Avenue. They found one victim hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Maryland and Monroe to close following the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating the San Diego hit-and-run crash.
