At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Escondido (15) Freeway Thursday
San Diego, CA (September 5, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Escondido (15) Freeway.
On September 2, Thursday, two vehicles collided on the northbound lanes of the freeway. The traffic accident took place near Scripps Poway Parkway in San Diego.
Initial records indicated the incident involved a white Honda, and two other automobiles. Following the collision, the Honda apparently drove away and left the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
Shortly after 2:35p.m., medical personnel arrived at the site. Paramedics rendered aid to at least one person, who sustained injuries as a result of the car accident.

Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the hit-and-run driver. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash on Interstate 15 in San Diego.
