Man Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run on Rainbow Valley Boulevard Near 15 Freeway
SAN DIEGO (March 18, 2020) – An alleged hit-and-run collision severely injured a man along Rainbow Valley Boulevard on Wednesday morning.
According to an article published by FOX 5 News, officers reported the accident at around 7:30 a.m. in the Rainbow neighborhood.
California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the 1900 block of Rainbow Valley Boulevard. The wreck happened east of the Interstate 15 Freeway.

North County Fire Protection officials along with the paramedics responded and extricated a male motorist. Firefighters found him trapped in one of the cars involved in the crash.
Medical personnel rushed the man to Palomar Hospital with life-threatening injuries. His name and condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver involved did not stop to render aid and then took off. Officers described the suspect vehicle as a tan colored Honda.
Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to locate the hit-and-run motorist.
