Motorcyclist Injured in San Diego Crash on I-5 Freeway
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (August 25, 2021) — A San Diego motorcycle accident happened Wednesday morning on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of Friars Road.
The crash happened about 7:37 a.m. on August 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reports the motorcycle collided with another motorist due to unknown reasons.

Paramedics responded to help the motorcycle rider who suffered major injuries. They transported the person to a hospital for further treatment. Police did not mention the age or gender of the injured motorcyclist in their online report.
Meanwhile, the other motorist stopped and cooperated with the police investigation.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash and will assign liability to one or both motorists.
Witnesses may call the San Diego CHP.
