Major Injury Motorcycle Crash on I-8 Freeway in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Sept. 9, 2021) — An Interstate 8 motorcycle accident happened Thursday morning between four vehicles near Hotel Circle Drive in San Diego.
The motorcyclist collided with three other motorists about 6 a.m. on September 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The multi-vehicle crash happened on the westbound side of the freeway near the Hotel Circle off ramp.
The rider wound up on the right shoulder and was conscious, but “out of it,” the report said.

Paramedics responded to the Interstate 8 after the accident to transport the critically injured motorcycle rider to a hospital.
Meanwhile, a blue Honda Civic and three other vehicles blocked most of the freeway.
Two tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles including the motorcycle.
Finally, investigators seek to determine liability for the San Diego motorcycle accident.
