Motorcyclist Hit by Vehicle on Highway 52 Near North Fortuna Mountain Summit
SAN DIEGO (July 19, 2018) – A traffic collision involving a motorcycle occurred on Highway 52 near North Fortuna Mountain Summit Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol group.

At 3:53 p.m. today, the CHP logged an accident between a silver Hyundai Elantra and a motorcycle.
First responders reportedly found the rider downed near the center divider, on the eastbound side of the highway. It was not immediately clear whether the motorcyclist was conscious or not following the crash. At this time, the identity of the rider remained unknown.
No other details were immediately released. Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine liability in the accident.
