Motorcyclist Hurt in San Diego Car Accident on Interstate 805 Freeway
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (May 20, 2021) — An 805 Freeway motorcycle crash happened Thursday morning in the San Diego area.
The collision happened about 6:43 a.m. on May 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The rider went down in the No. 3 lane after a collision with a blue BMW. The motorcyclist was able to get up and move his bike out of the roadway, but the person possibly fractured their arm in the crash, the report said.
Hit-and-run Crash Investigation
Meanwhile, the suspect driving the BMW fled the scene without stopping to help the injured rider. There was no description of the suspect or the model of the BMW provided in the report.
Also, someone called 911 for an ambulance, but it’s unknown if the rider was taken to the hospital.
Investigators seek to locate the suspect who fled and determine liability for the 805 Freeway motorcycle crash.
