Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in San Diego Crash on Southbound Interstate 15
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 26, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on the Interstate 15 in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place late Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:25 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in San Diego. The two crashed on the southbound Interstate 15, just north of Market Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the San Diego crash.
