Motorcycle, Dump Truck Crash on I-15 Freeway and State Route 94
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2022) — A San Diego crash involving a motorcycle and a dump truck happened Monday on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway at the transition from State Route 94.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 5:46 a.m. on Sept. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver with the last name Ramirez was riding a black Harley Davidson motorcycle that collided with a dump truck due to unknown circumstances. It happened on the I-15 where it merges with SR-94, police said.
It appears the truck driver may have fled the scene following the wreck.
Meanwhile, the motorcyclist suffered undisclosed injuries in the crash. Paramedics transported the rider to a hospital for further treatment.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the San Diego motorcycle accident on the I-15 Freeway.
