Station Wagon Turns in Front of Bike at San Diego Intersection
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (June 8, 2018) — A motorcyclist was injured Thursday afternoon when a driver in a station wagon turned in front of him on 6th Avenue at Olive Street, according to On Scene TV.
The crash took place about 4:24 p.m. on June 7. Police say the rider was headed southbound on 6th Avenue when the incident the driver turned in front of him and he was unable to avoid the crash. The motorcycle T-boned the station wagon’s passenger side causing major damage to both vehicles.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured rider to a hospital.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Police are investigating this collision and will determine fault. At this time, it appears the driver in the station wagon made a turn in front of the motorcycle who had the right-of-way. All evidence is being reviewed and police took statements from both drivers at the scene.
