SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Feb. 23, 2023) — A multi-vehicle San Diego crash on the Interstate 15 Freeway happened Thursday morning, just south of state Route 56.
The collision occurred about 8:27 a.m. on Feb. 23rd, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a red Tesla and a silver Ford Mustang were involved in the collision. The Tesla wound up facing sideways in the HOV traffic lane.
Police and paramedics responded to help those involved and the emergency vehicles were blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes, but the No. 3 lane remained open to traffic.
It’s unknown how many people were injured in the I-15 Freeway crash.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the San Diego crash on the 15 Freeway.
