Pickup Truck Hits Pedestrian in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Oct. 13, 2023) — A driver struck a pedestrian early Friday morning at the entrance to the Interstate 15 Freeway and Adams Avenue in San Diego.

The collision occurred at around 6:10 a.m. on Oct. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver in a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck struck the pedestrian in a crosswalk at the northbound Escondido Freeway entrance.

Paramedics responded to the scene to help those involved, but there are no further details at this time.

Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the pedestrian accident at Adams Avenue.
