Man, 40, Struck and Injured in Pedestrian Accident
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (August 19, 2022) — A San Diego pedestrian accident on Alvarado Road happened Thursday night in the College Area.
A driver reportedly struck a man about 11:15 p.m. on August 18th, according to the San Diego Union Tribune.
The 40-year-old man reportedly stepped into the path of the black 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV driven by a 27-year-old woman, police said.
The woman was unable to avoid hitting the man who was reportedly not in a crosswalk.
Paramedics responded and rushed him by ambulance to Alvarado Hospital Medical Center.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries in the wreck.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the San Diego crash.
