Pedestrian Injured in San Diego Crash at Sixth Avenue and Laurel Street
SAN DIEGO (October 30, 2018) – A pedestrian was injured after a traffic accident in the area of Sixth Avenue and Laurel Street Tuesday evening, according to San Diego Union-Tribune.
The collision occurred at about 7:30 p.m. near the Haunted Trail in Balboa Park.
As per the article, San Diego police said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Laurel Street. One of the cars involved reportedly went toward a man and woman who were standing on the sidewalk at the time.

At least one of the pedestrians sustained minor injuries to their legs. It was not specified if they were struck by the vehicle, by debris, or got hurt while attempting to avoid the incident.
The name and condition of the victim at this time remained unknown. Meanwhile, the driver of one of the two cars ran away from the scene.
Police mentioned that the motorist who fled was not facing a felony hit-and-run charge. The investigation is ongoing.
