Man Hospitalized After Collision at Fairmont Park Monday
San Diego, CA (March 15, 2022) – A pedestrian accident occurred Tuesday in the area of Federal and Home Avenue, the Kusi News reported.
Authorities said a 23-year-old man attempted to cross Federal Avenue in the area of Fairmont Park. When the pedestrian started walking in the crosswalk, a Toyota Camry drove through the intersection at Home Avenue.
The article published online mentioned the Camry struck the pedestrian. Officials said the collision took place just before midnight on Monday.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the male pedestrian found with serious injuries. Paramedics rushed the patient to the hospital for possible surgery of two broken legs. Personal information of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, details on the driver involved in the crash have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine liability in the pedestrian accident at Federal and Home Avenue.
