Car Hits Pedestrian at Campo Road and North Granada Ave
CASA DE ORO, California (Feb. 19, 2019) – A man was injured Tuesday morning in a pedestrian accident at Campo Road and North Granada Avenue.
The collision was reported about 5:50 a.m. in the Casa De Oro-Mount Helix area, according to police.
The driver of a Volkswagen reportedly struck the man at the intersection, leaving him with injuries serious enough to require he be taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Meanwhile, police interviewed the involved driver who had stopped and was cooperating with the investigators.
