Person Killed in Car Accident at San Diego Intersection
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (May 5, 2021) — A fatal San Diego pedestrian accident happened Sunday night in downtown San Diego.
A car struck the person about 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 2nd on North Harbor Drive near West Laurel Street, according to San Diego Police Department.
Police did not mention if the victim was male or female, but they did indicate the pedestrian stepped into traffic.

Meanwhile, the pedestrian suffered major injuries and died in the roadway. The name and age of the victim is unknown at this time, but will be released after family members are notified.
Investigators are working to determine liability for the San Diego pedestrian accident. However, preliminary information indicates it was a tragic accident. There were no citations or arrests reported after the collision. Witnesses may contact authorities to help them with the investigation.
