Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Poe Street
San Diego, CA (August 25, 2022) – A 56-year-old man suffered serious injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Poe Street, the ABC10 News reported.
Officials said a vehicle struck an individual in the 3700 block of Poe Street Thursday morning. Preliminary investigation revealed the man was walking in the area and trying to round up his off-leash dog.
While in the middle of the roadway, an oncoming 2020 Jeep SUV hit the pedestrian.

Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 6:45 a.m. According to the article published online, the victim sustained serious injuries due to the force from the impact. Paramedics rushed the patient to a hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
No immediate information was available on the driver involved in the collision.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate liability in the pedestrian accident that happened on Poe Street in San Diego.
