Pedestrian Injured in San Diego Hit-and-Run at G and 14th Streets
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 12, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after a hit-and-run crash at G Street and 14th Street in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place late Friday night. Officers reported the incident at about 11:35 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit the person at the intersection of G Street and 14th Street in the city of San Diego.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near the 5 Freeway. They found the victim hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to help the victim and then fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of G and 14th streets to close following the collision.
The cause of the San Diego hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
