Scooter Rider Seriously Injured in San Diego Hit-and-Run Crash on Linda Vista Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 30, 2021) – A scooter rider was seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash on Linda Vista Road in San Diego.
According to an article published by the FOX 5 News, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on November 29 at around 2:30 p.m.
The incident happened when a 38-year-old man was riding a scooter in the northbound bike lane of the 6900 block of Linda Vista Road.

San Diego police said a vehicle swerved to the right and struck the victim. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in the Linda Vista neighborhood.
They found the rider who sustained a broken nose, fractured shoulder and cuts on his face as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took him to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The report did not release the name of the wounded patient and his condition at this time. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
They described the car as a black Cadillac sedan. Officers forced a stretch of the road shut down following the wreck. The Linda Vista hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
